Quadric are diverse and dynamic, offering early construction involvement, large scale principal contractor for commercial interiors, office fitout, base build refurbishment and custom joinery services. They employ 45 direct staff and have 50-100 active sub-contractors. At any given time they are working on 20+ projects across different sites.
Given the variety of works performed by Quadric, they needed a centralised online repository for storing all documents and information related to a contractor or contracting company. In addition to this, there was a need to implement a convenient method of reporting incidents and conducting audits.

Rapid Induct was implemented at Quadric in conjunction with Rapid Contractor Management to help streamline their contractor engagement processes and take the pressure off the Project Managers and their HSEQ advisor.
“It allows us to ensure the required inductions have been competed by all workers before they arrive on-site. We also have a copy of their driver’s licence, white card and work licence (if required) on file forever. This process saves us a lot time and money as the contractor workers can arrive onsite and get straight to work. Quadric site management also benefits as they are not tied up for hours each morning doing inductions and photocopying cards, licences etc. They now have more time to assist and supervise all trades on-site.”
Quadric love that using Rapid Contractor Management, their Project Teams can log on at any time, anywhere and quickly review information about contractors they have engaged. They can even do this from the Rapid Global Admin Tools App on their phone or tablet if they like.
“Rapid Contractor Management provides a comprehensive online solution for ensuring contractor compliance prior to project engagement. Previously this would have been a time-consuming process for our Project managers and HSEQ Advisor, but we now find the system does the work for us. By using Rapid Contractor Management, we are able to check that each contractor we engage has the required documentation uploaded and verified before we allow them to engage on-site. Also, we believe that contractors have upped their level of compliance due to the fact that they must be approved first before their workers can get inducted. We enforce a strict rule on all our sites that if you’re not inducted with Rapid Induct you’re not allowed on site.”

Quadric have found that Rapid Global “provides an all in one solution for compliance”. One of the factors that makes up the solution is Rapid Incident Reporting, which they have found to be an invaluable tool in ensuring that incidents are promptly raised when required and appropriately dealt with.
“The database has streamlined our internal method for reporting incidents and completing investigations. Our favourite feature is that we can attach all incident related information like SWMS, induction records, photos etc. to that incident file. This is extremely beneficial when we demonstrate our reporting process to external auditors as we have all related information in one location and not spread across numerous folders as was our previous method before using Rapid Incident Reporting. The report generator has also been very beneficial when providing quarterly and annual reports to project teams and senior management.”
